Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

NM License #: CCMH0222411

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 6 years of mental health experience in a variety of settings including group private practice, agency, and in the Albuquerque Public Schools system. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico and completed my Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Southwest.

I am certified and specialize in perinatal mental health, which refers to pregnancy, as well as the postpartum period. I also have advanced training in infant mental health and child development for the age range of 0-5 years old. I am passionate about working with clients during these critical early stages because I believe that raising happy and healthy children is important. Parents and caregivers play a major role in healthy child development, which will have lasting impacts that carry into adulthood. My hope is to help you create lasting positive impacts for you and your family.

I provide evidence-based therapy through all life stages to address problems related to mood, anxiety, trauma, and relationships. My preferred therapeutic approaches are Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); however, I believe each individual and family is unique and therapy should be approached in a way that honors that. I am trained in several therapeutic modalities and will partner with you to find the best approach for your needs.

Therapy is a collaboration and I encourage clients to be active in their own treatment and progress. Together, we will identify your therapeutic goals, develop your treatment plan, and measure your progress.

I look forward to working with you!
